At the beginning of the 2019 coronavirus pandemic, Aoki Laboratories reached out in collaboration to create a hand sanitizer that would be made with higher quality ingredients than those already existing in the market. The style of the design was heavily influenced by Chinese calligraphic scrolls and stamps, resulting in a look that was modern yet traditional.
